It seems like it was the must-be place earlier tonight but it was totally be accident that I even found out about it. Obviously, that meant that I'd already managed to miss have of the show, which was annoying.
I know I've spoken before about how I enjoy these shows even though I'm not really the most fashion conscious of people myself. I'm a simple gal who feels most comfortable sticking to what is both familiar to me and proven to meets my requirements for comfort.
That said, I do love seeing the creativity on display by designers when their creations get modelled on the catwalk. It also feels like they should be good networking events for all sorts of creators, not necessarily just clothes designers, since in amongst the crowd it tends to be a bit of a who's who of the creative world.
For instance, the first face I spotted tonight was my personal style icon, the gorgeous and always fashionable, Reena Rain, who was sat front and sent to get the best view possible. And yes, she was looking amazing as you would expect.
Then, a few rows back on the opposite side of the stage, I spotted the wonderfully talented Harlyn, who always has her fingers on the pulse of fashion trends, It's for good reason that she appeared on my fashion-themed episode of the TTS Podcast and got my vote for standout designer at the Bare Bunnies Spring Fashion Show earlier this year.
And speaking of guests who came on the TTS Podcast to discuss fashion, Felicia Black was another who was there; not just as a guest though, but as a model. Sadly, I arrived too late to catch a glimpse of her strutting her stuff on the catwalk.
Between them, there were just three out of hundreds of guest who attended. In fact, it was so crowded by the time I arrived, there was barely a spare seat in the place, so I had to make do with standing at the back with my phone camera zoomed right in so I could actually see what was going on.
Unfortunately, because I missed all of the intro spiel, I still have no idea who was behind the outfits being modelled, so I've really got nothing to say on that, apart from that they were all wonderful. Shame I can give credit to those responsible but oh well... maybe there needs to be more advertising budget set side next time so I can know about the event in advance instead of wondering in half way through and missing all that sort of stuff.
