Pianos in the Park

Last night I got to enjoy a lovely evening at the Concert in the Park with Amanda.

Even though we were chatting amongst ourselves for most of the performance, the music provided a soothing background. Indeed, listening to the dulcet tones of beautiful piano melodies was the perfect way to relax after a hectic weekend and prepare myself for another busy week ahead.

Fortunately, the weather was kind and the gathered crowd had no problem casually lying on the grass whilst the night closed in around us despite it still not being the warmest time of the year. And, those that did find the temperature a bit marginal, snuggled up with friends or loved ones.

The whole affair was all very informal. Audience members could just stroll in and find a nice patch of grass to park themselves on. Or, if they wee really lucky, maybe find a spare blanket to lie on for a little extra comfort. Most of those seemed to be monopolised by couples making out though.

I look forward to enjoying future concerts there as well. If you are looking for somewhere to let your stresses wash away or perhaps somewhere romantic to take a date, I think you should check one out as well. You will not be disappointed.
