Black Rose turns 4

I've been aware of The Black Rose for far longer than I've actually been attending but I still had no idea that it has been going for as long as 4 years. And the only reason that I know that now is that tonight was their 4th Anniversary event; celebrated with cake and balloons!

Even better than there being cake (and we should all know by now that I loooooooove cake), this week's theme had come back round to soundtracks in their regular rotation. And soundtracks is by far my favourite of all their themes. 

Especially when they hit me with back to back pieces from Nier Automata and Nier Replicant. It's doesn't get much better than that!

Obviously, Hans Zimmer and John Williams pieces were also performed. Although pretty much expected at this point, that always makes a great evening of music even better.
