Painful times and exciting developments

Sorry for not posting anything for a while. Most of you will be unaware that my brother has been battling pancreatic cancer for the last 15 months and he recently passed away so I've been taking some time to be with family.

Having a loved one who is going through something so terrible but to have it during a global pandemic has made it so much tougher. Fearing to go out in case you contract something that might rob a vulnerable family member of what little time they have left has just been the worst. And being forced to isolate away from the rest of human society for so long has only served to make this blog even more important to me as an escape from the shitty situation.

Of course, I am not alone in having gone through some dark times during the last 15 months and I'm sure that some of you will also have lost people close and dear to you, whether they be friends or family, so I don't really want to dwell on that any more. I know my brother certainly wouldn't want me to me moping around, grieving about something that cannot be changed. He would want me to make the most of each and every day that is ahead of me.

That is why I would like to share with you some news about what the future holds for me and my blog. Although I have recently taken an enforced breather from blogging to deal with how shitty life can be, that hasn't stopped my mind from coming up with all sorts of ideas about things I could try. Some of them wacky and outlandish, some which need a little more refinement and some which I have already started to put in to action.

First off, you may have noticed a few ads have now appeared on the blog. That's not a decision that I came to lightly but the reason that they are there is that I have now become a Lovense affiliate. I am still fairly new to theirs products but I have absolutely fallen in love with them. I still only own a Hush but I have heard glowing praise for the Nora and Lush as well. And since they have featured so heavily in a number of my recent posts and sexcapades, there is clearly a great synergy there with the content that I am producing at the moment. I promise to try not to make the ads too intrusive though and only pick ones that I think mesh well with the rest of my blog.

All that is to say, if you do fancy giving one of their products a try (or several if you are feeling really adventurous) and you do me the favour of clicking through to their site from one of my ads, it will earn me a little bit of pocket money, which I will no doubt reinvest with Lovense to get more of their products.

Speaking of, I now also have a Lovense wishlist available if you would like to show your appreciation for all the hard work I put into this blog and my content. Ideally, I want to review a few more of their products like I did with the Hush, and I'm more than happy to receive any contributions that will accelerate that. A Lush 3 is the one I want to pick up next so fans can make donations towards that - as much or little as you choose. Or for those who just want to outright buy me a gift, you can send me some lube (always going to need plenty of that for putting things in my butt) or really go to town and gift me a Nora or Domi 2.

For anyone who is generous enough to make any of this happen, I do plan to give you a very special thank you which will involve letting you book a private session with me where you get to take control of whichever product you gave towards. The length of the session will vary depending on the gift involved but there are details about that on the wishlist page so you can get an idea of what's on offer. Just remember to include your name in the gift note so that I know who has bought it for me.

Which brings me to my next topic (still Lovense themed). Following up on my Hush-themed game that I played in my last post, I've been thinking about opening a room based around that idea. The concept that I'm kicking around is that every guest to my room would be allowed one free dice roll to take control of my Hush for however many minutes they roll on the dice. If they are so inclined, they could then purchase extra dice rolls. There would possibly also be some competitions for guests to win extra rolls or periods where I may increase the reward of the rolls to add a bit more spice to proceedings.

I would certainly be interested to hear if that is something that anyone would be interested in coming along to. I may even try a few random soft launch events to see what the attendance is like and whether guests engage with the concept or not, so keep an eye open for that. My current working title for the room is "Buzz My Butt", because that is exactly what my guests will get to do.

On to another Lovense idea that will require some community involvement; in addition to reviewing more of the women's products, I would also like to be able to cater towards my male readers as well. So if there are any guys reading this who are Lovense owners, I would love to hear from you and maybe arrange to do some sort of interview about your experiences with whichever products you own. Naturally, I would volunteer myself to help you test them out. That would only be fair.

Lovense Max

And finally, a quick update on my movie project that seems to have been dragging on for ages now. I'm really sorry to anyone that I spoke to about filming some scenes but didn't get back to. Hopefully my opening to this post has made it clear why filming has ground to a halt of late and you can forgive me. I will be resuming filming soon though and there is not actually too much left to do now. Funnily enough, I have already managed to do most of the post-production so once the last few scenes are filmed, it will basically be done. In the meantime, I may put out some sort of short teaser for it, if inspiration take me. I just pray that the end product is worth the wait, particularly for all of the kind performers who gave me some of the time without really having any idea of what the full concept of it will be. If nothing else, I can at least say that I have learned a lot from this project as it has really pushed me out of my comfort zone.

I think that just about does it for news right now, so in closing I would just like to say the following... It brings me so much joy to know that there are people who take time out of their day to read my blog and enjoy my content. I am so grateful and humbled by your continued support. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Please take care of yourselves and don't ever forget to love one another. Lots of love, Laura xx
