Thankfully, the showers were eventually vacated so me and Amanda got straight in there before anyone else could selfishly use them for non-showering activities.

Cos I’m nice, I gave her back a good scrub but she got very fussy about the type of soap I was using. Apparently she expects newly-opened gyms to provide the fancy nancy soap she has at home. Not likely…

So busy were we getting all nice and clean that we hadn’t noticed that the 2 of the previous occupants of the showers had returned. Presumably hoping we’d oblige them like the previous ladies in the shower had. We didn’t! In fact, Amanda decided to hide in the corner to use me as a human shield.

Charming!

Meanwhile, In the back of the BBC Bulls Gym, these four where getting a workout in a different sort of way. Which is all well and good but after getting my sweat on on the running machines, I was good and ready to call time on my workout and hit the showers before heading home.

With these four keeping the showers occupied though, I had no choice but to keep pounding along on the treadmill until they were done. Annoyingly for me, they were more than happy to take their time as I impatiently waited.

One of my secrets to keeping a nice, shapely bum is to enjoy a good workout. Whenever a new gym opens, I like to go and check out what it has to offer. Somehow, AmandaHThomas always seems to be nowhere to found when that happens though. Until today!

There’s a new gym in town named BBC Bull Gym, so I took Amanda along for a good sesh.

Unfortunately for her, Amanda doesn’t have my stamina and, after a bout of wheezing, eventually collapsed in a heap on the floor. Luckily, I was on hand to give her C.P.R. and revive her. Don’t think she had much interest in doing any more running after that though…
