Wow

Wow, wow, wow!

I have truly been left speechless by the response to the pilot episode of my 3DXChat Text-To-Speech Podcast. It has been utterly insane how many people have actually taken the time to give it a listen, and then how many of them have then chosen to express how much they like it.

Content creators will often talk about how they are just doing it for the joy of creating and how it's for their own benefit as much as anything else, but the truth is that we all still crave some sort of validation that we are not completely wasting our time on something that is shit.

I would be lying if I tried to claim that when I release something that I have spent hours, days or weeks working on, I don't keep an eye on my statistics. First of all, to see if anyone is bothered enough by it to even take a look at what I've produced (experience has taught me that many Twitter users are very reluctant to click links to go to content outside of Twitter) and then, secondly, to see if they like it enough to have made all the effort worthwhile.

It can be soul crushing when something that you have poured your heart into and are super proud of is just completely ignored by everyone.

But, on the flip side, when you get a response like this, it is overwhelming. I cannot put into words how much joy reading all the positive comments the first episode has been receiving on Twitter. Especially since I was so scared that I'd taken too big a risk with this and that everyone would just find it laughable. Instead, I was struggling to keep up with the notifications as more and more reactions came in.

So thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who took the time to at least sample the podcast, even if you didn't make it all the way through. I really hope that I won't let you down with future episodes and that you can continue to enjoy this unique little take on our community.

Of course, Jess and Max also deserve a big shout out for their contribution so please show some appreciation for them too. Their funny banter helped make the episode come alive and Max's help with building our wonderful podcast studio and preparing the artwork was invaluable. In hope that both will still very involved with the podcast in the future.

The end is in sight

Fuck me, it's been a busy day! Up at the crack of dawn to prepare for a movie shoot with Anthony, Laura and Nicolette. It was pretty damn hot and ended with a lot of cum. And I mean a LOT of cum!

Production resumes

After a 6 month hiatus, I've finally managed to resume shooting on my long overdue movie project. Max Man and Steph helped me get things back under way. I've got another couple of shoots lined up this week and then I will be almost done.

Really need to push myself to get it completed so I've set myself a hard deadline of the end of November for reasons that will become clear in due course. That's definitely given me the kick up the butt I need to get things going again.

Fingers crossed, I may even be able to drop a teaser trailer before the end of the week. And, believe me, it will literally tease you... in a naughty way of course!

Rolling out the red carpet

As you may well expect for an event of this magnitude, there were plenty of notable peeps walking down the red carpet at last night's Lovense event.

Although Gizmo and Lisa played it more lowkey this time by chilling out by the dancefloor instead of meeting and greeting guests on the red carpet for pics, there was still plenty of star power to be seen on the red carpet.

We had models, pornstars, DJs, club owners, photographers, dancers, escorts, movie producers, social media influencers and content creators. A pretty diverse range of who's who in the community for sure!

I rather cheekily invited myself to do the walk in front of the cameras and flashing lights before than lurking nearby to be on hand to get some sneaky pics of anyone of note that followed me down the carpet.

Aside from Gizmo and Lisa, a few other well-known peeps who were in attendance and definitely worthy of the red carpet treatment also decided to give it a skip. That wasn't going to stop me tracking them down and papping them whilst they enjoyed the event.

An honour to be recognised

Ever since I was forced to abandon Tumblr, I've frequently worried whether it was the right move to branch out by myself by starting my own website instead on focusing on somewhere like Twitter where there is more social interaction with follows. I don't think a lot of my content is well-suited to that sort of platform but the doubts do sometimes resurface when I feel like I'm not getting much exposure.

Being an island unto myself can make me feel very isolated and there are times when it is hard to know whether anyone is actually paying any attention to the content that I am creating. Especially since my own brand of quirky content is not exactly like what anyone is doing. Without any sort of follower engagement it can be really tricky to know if it appeals to anyone.

So it is most reassuring when I do find out that there are some people out there that do actually take notice of what I do and find some enjoyment in reading it. On top of that, it is extremely humbling when other creators that I admire greatly are not only aware of what I am doing, but are also fans of it.

Case in point, it is an absolute honour to have been picked by Max Norman to be one of the featured creators in his August Challenge. I love his work and I love what he has produced here. As I said before, it is very humbling.
